Cold that we weren't prepared for as we exited the train.
Red noses by the time we got to the sea.
All forgotten as we ran on the rocks and listened to the cry of the British seagulls.
An unexpected sound.
Ours are slimmer.
Odd.
A walk on a very famous pier.
Playing silly on that pier and buying a snow dome.
Did you know that you cannot go on a holiday and not by a snow dome from where you have been.
Its holiday law.
Really.
A pub lunch.
Red wine red nose.
Sigh.
Lots and lots of walking.
Did I mention the walking?
A sleepy train ride back to the hustle and bustle.
Two boys asleep on their feet as we hit the front step.
Sorting out our gorgeous rocks while drinking bloody marys.
That would be the adults not the children.
They went to bed.
A good good day.
