My kids had to all change school from a tiny weeny school where they were all together exactly like your kids all functioning together as a whole school. See the link. I would like to reassure you that all three of my children are really happy at school. You will really enjoy the release from the financial burden and your guilt ( I say that because that is what I felt) will go.

I would like to thank you to as you reminded my of a time when things were a bit tricky and that change is good. I am going through major upheaval relationship wise at the moment and it was good to be reminded about a big change in my life and that it actually worked out better than I could ever have imagined!

Bless you. Just hug dont blame anyone - it is actually no one's fault.

Many years ago we faced the same awful decision and my kids were thrust from the bosom of a school family to a large public school system where they were each assigned an ID number. It was definitely hardest on ME! They each went on to soar ..... socially, emotionally, and academically. They learned skills that they might have otherwise missed, others that I wish they missed, and avoided some that I am glad that they missed! Things happen for a reason...with a mom like you, things will turn out beautifully in the end.

I'm very sorry to hear about your boys' change of school. Sending you a big hug from Melbourne. Here's hoping many wonderful positives and new friendships will come from the change.
