Thank you all for the beautiful congratulations! A most delicious baby fug has descended over this house and we would'nt have it any other way. Its magic.
Yesterday this little bug turned two weeks old.I want to rewind a little.Too fast.Charlie got his belly button last night as well which seemed like such a growing up thing to do.
Right now I am loving-
his milky warm smell
the soft down on his little arms and cheeks
the way he chuckles in his sleep and purses his tiny cupid lips when he's makes little bird sounds
his tiny feet that fit in the crook of my thumb
the way his little froggy legs tuck right up into that comfort position he held for so many months
watching his big BIG brothers drop kisses on his cheeks as they go past
listening for the sound of him waking
that he still enjoys being wrapped up snuggly like a little pea pod
the way he will sleep anywhere anytime and in amongst the happy chaos of family life
that he turns when he hears my voice
seeing my Grandmothers bluest of eyes staring back at me in his
Something silly? Yesterday was the first time I was allowed to drive since Charlies birth. I was in the middle of the street trying to turn the car around and it wasnt working. I'd blanked. Seconds, which felt like looong minutes, where I sat in that car laughing because I had forgotten how to make it go!!

He is beautiful!! I love the baby smell- my daughter was just commenting on how puppies have a similar smell. I hope you're taking loads of photos- it goes so quick, as you know:) So happy for all of you!
