I am giving the 'tour' a rest for today and ,inspired by many of you, decided instead to look at what I managed to create in the stolen moments that make up our own time. Not everything is on there but its still not as much as I would hope I had done with those moments. On the other hand,it was the year that I went back to what I love and learnt to do it on my terms.I think that makes this past year pretty perfect.
I do have the dreaded 'new year resolution' but it is more of a plan or wish list rather than an unattainable list of rules I have imposed on myself.Little things like 'learn to felt','knit something tricky' are muddle in with 'earn a living from my creations','spend more time being happy with my family' and 'dance around the kitchen with husband while cooking dinner'.Important do-able things.I can't wait.I still feel as though I have not quite made it into this new year yet but, with the start of school tomorrow, its definitely kicking in.
The thing I have promised myself most for this year is to focus on 'what is' rather than 'whats not'.Its too stressful and the year flies by.I don't want to waste it being cross and stressed.Calm blue ocean.Thats it.When you over boil-calm blue ocean.
What have you planned for this year?xxx
Oh and by the way - HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!!!!!!!!!!
What a fantastic collection of creations. They look so amazing in combination.
Your resolutions are wonderful.
My year looks to be interesting. I hope to enjoy a first year of school, a first year of kindergarten. I also hope to maintain a fabulous working life as well as finish the year with a gorgeous mosaic of creations such as yours.
And to top it all off, I'll be getting married in July. A bit of planning to do.
I'm exhausted already.

You projects look so fanciful and happy - it makes me feel like I've been seeing things in black and white around here.
